I have been thinking about colours and directions and moods. There is a wonderful book I am reading called A Flat Place by Noreen Masud.

I really don’t know how to describe it, but it has made me think about a lot of things.

When is a wrong bus not a wrong bus?

I knew it wasn't the right bus. But it wasn't the wrong bus. Really. It wasn't the bus I wanted (the number 8) which was ages away according to the app.

Insights of a Greyhound

This article stopped me in my tracks. It sucked me forcibly back to 1984. Paul and I, 20 years old but looking 15, arrive in New York. It’s so noisy and there’s steam coming up from the manhole covers like in the films.
